Less is better

Weekly use of Algarine lets you simplify the chores of maintaining the swimming pool water and above all to use much fewer chemicals.

Regular use of Algarine will reduce your consumption of:

• Chlorine,
• Algicide,
• Clarifier,
• Stabilizer,
• pH corrector.

Backwash water

Swimming pool backwash water is a concern. The chemicals which they contain can potentially contaminate surface streams and even the phreatic layers: we can even find traces of stabilizer (cyanuric acid of stabilized chlorines) in ground-water sheets.

Phosphate and eutrophication of water streams

Algarine does not contain phosphate.

Copper?

The registered recipe of Algarine contains copper. This metal, for a long time criticized as unwanted in swimming pools, is now recognized as the most efficient and least polluting algicide.

Copper works efficiently on photosynthesis because of its effectiveness at such low concentration levels.

In an information document, Health Canada presents numerous advantages linked to the use of Copper sulfate algicides for swimming pools.

• Control algae appearance,
• Improve water clarity, Reduce the amount of chlorine or bromine based products required.

These products are not destined to:

• Fight against microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses,
• Eliminate the use of products such as chlorine or bromine based products for swimming pools.

Algarine is registered under the Pest Control Products Act of Health Canada:# 27002.

Packaging

The Algarine designers minimized the packaging and above all its impact on the environment. The containers are now made of PET, one of the most ecological plastics available at the moment.
